Seen // Watch: Les Jeux Sont Faits

I won’t lie to you lovely people on the Left Bank, an episode of Gossip Girl led me here. During the episode, the narrator stated “Les Jeux Sont Faits” … first google brought me to Sartre’s play Les Jeux Sont Faits, and while the English version isn’t available // not in print, those of you who can read French can easily get a copy of the French version.

Which brings me to this, the 1947 film adaptation of the screenplay. Beware- its all in French but if you’ve got a command of the language, or whether its purely aspirational at this point, we can all spend this cold Tuesday evening watching a film about soulmates, death, and the afterlife.
