I was passed a joint and spoke French during Radiohead … who could complain about that?
A tad bit late to the posting party (I have a love // hate relationship with technology, I must admit) but I couldn’t deny you guys the chance to see how I spent a debauchery-filled weekend in Montréal about a week ago.
Truth be told, I normally stay at a Buddhist Temple // Zen Centre when I’m in MTL, so this was a major deviation from my “escape-the-big-city” norm.
This was also my first time at the fest – and it was absolutely fantastic. Osheaga made sure to have rest areas (for bad trips, bad headaches, and bad times) which included wifi and hammocks, and enough fairy lights to make you think you were Tinkerbell. The actual acts were stunning; the crowd was a mix between East Coast folks and Canadians (mostly from Toronto). I was passed a joint and spoke French during Radiohead … who could complain about that?
