Dark and ominous, mysterious and catchy; the quintessential Monday track–that’s what we get with Berlin-based K4LT‘s ‘Boarding Pass.’

It’s got post-punk vibes, with a hip-hop drum backing track, and gorgeous falsetto vocals at some points. Yes, really, all that is happening. And its damn good. Four stars for Desktop Doom

Founded in 2017, the solo project K4LT 🌚 revolves around the universal feeling of being lost and posting about it on Instagram. The repetitive and bassy character of many pieces is lent from Berlin’s striving techno scene, while the desperate guitar aesthetic is derived from Doom, lacking the often typical male role model and aggression.

Can we just pause to appreciate the layers?
