The Cabin Fever evolved from singe-cell into consciousness in East Los Angeles during the spring of 2016 amidst personal turmoil, bad feelings and worse habits.

Not going to lie, music videos and concerts that feature band members in animal heads//masks is easily one of my favorite things. It’s so fucking weird, but it brings me true joy.

Los-Angeles based band The Cabin Fever had me at hello. Well, the first few seconds of their video (see above).

Their track reminds me of a tune from The Jesus and Mary Chain—the lyrics are simple, yet catchy; the beat is easy to follow and appreciate; and its overall a really beautiful song. Plus, Moriarty has a voice that sounds like a rock-gods version of angels singing. Can’t complain with any of that.
