Sounds: Teflon (τεφλόν) // Scala (σκάλα)

I’ll preface this by saying that I have no idea how to properly pronounce this Athens-based bands name (Teflon (τεφλόν), and have absolutely no idea what they are singing about–so I’m just going to assume its about how life is good, and Trump sucks, and how the underdog will prevail.

Overall I think this track speaks to the ability of music to transcend cultures and languages. Despite not knowing much about this band or the track, the music is gripping. The chorus is rock at its most profound (in my opinion)- loud, melodic, and moving.

Since 2007 they have chosen to appear, subtly, randomly and sporadically as teflon. Their second album is already being broadcast with alpha waves from TV and radio transmitters as well as from modem-routers. You know them, you just do not know them.

Go ahead, rock on. Listen to the track Scala (σκάλα) here:
