Channeling all kinds of Pet Shop Boys meets Morissey, this track by NYC-based Tygersounds is sooo good. It’s the 80’s all over again with this “Almost Famous” music video. Or maybe Twilight. Maybe both, in a weird but also cool way. I need sleep.

Originally formed as a studio project, producer/songwriter Jordan Moser captures the nostalgia of the ’80s with Tyger. Since releasing the self-titled EP in March 2015, he added drummer Tom Cordell (Cold Blood Club, Ula Ruth) and electric violinist Hilary Davis (Cold Blood Club) to create a dynamic live sound.

The emerging synthwave group is already doing pretty well if I might say so myself–releasing a debut music video (see below), releasing new tracks, and playing a special upcoming show in the red-lit, chandelier-clad basement lair that is Berlin (East Village) this week.
