Start your morning with this sexy, indie rock track by Murmn. Reminiscent of MOTHXR (but much better), Murmn doesn’t try too hard at anything–vocals and the accompanying instrumentals come easy, and it shows.
The West-coast, free-form, producer // songwriter // musician is in the middle of a project as much as an experiment in weekly song production: each song is created from scratch on a Monday and written, recorded, mixed and mastered throughout the week. From there, the finished product is released within seven days under his Seattle-based production company Spatial Touch.
And if that doesn’t make you feel completely unproductive and useless, then listening to the track “Passing By” definitely will–because both the World and this track were created in seven days, and all I’ve done is written this blog post.
