Jaguar pop for the masses. Whatever the hell that means.

Absolutely love this uber dreamy track by Atlanta-based Jaguar Purrs, “In Your Eyes”. And while you couldn’t tell because I’ve been sitting on this track for quite some time, one could say I was waiting for the right moment.

The track gives you freedom to be yourself, lose a little control, and explore parts of yourself that you haven’t quite checked out (or maybe were a bit too afraid to). It’s part love song, part figure-the-shit-out, and it’s brilliantly done. The vibe is very Strokes “Comedown Machine” but with its own take of course — the synths make me feel like I’m in church. The whole thing is downright beautiful.
