After a two and a half year hiatus, Swedish indie-pop trio Like Swimming have this new single ‘Strike A Pose’ off their politically charged six-track EP Resistance—coming April 20th via DigSin.

The vocals are reminiscent of Chvrches, with some Chromatics-influenced instrumentals. It’s catchy and surreal—the track itself has a lot of momentum and energy, and the music video has this mixed media vibe to it that I can’t get enough of.

The division of the album into a two-part EP is an attempt for the band to get all their political frustration out in the first part, ‘Resistance’, to make room for the ups and downs of personal battles in the second part, ‘Relations’, coming later this year.

They did a fantastic job capturing all of the nuances in present day culture, while still keeping the track accessible and fun.
