This track by the homie ‘I Am Jake Ma‘ is giving out so much life this Monday afternoon. The weekend royally sucked (I take that back, Sunday sucked) and Berlin can’t get here soon enough. Anyone else in Berlin this weekend?

He’s friends with Pure Mids (a band/project that we on the Left Bank ADORE) and Pure Mids put our mag on his radar, and here we are, loving life again. Or, at least coming close to it.

Steven from Pure Mids also mixed and mastered the track, so you know it’s golden.

Oozing with summertime vibes and a freedom that I can’t quite capture in NYC (damn California, why do I hate and love you so much), “Stormy Weather” is off Jake Ma’s upcoming EP About Time—coming out April 27th on all streaming services—which was all written and recorded by Jake Ma in his living room.
