There’s something about 8-bit style electronic that says “FUCK you. I don’t need anything but a Gameboy Color to be a better musician than you.” I absolutely dig it. 7_03 brings the best of it with Gravity.

I’m always skeptical about pure electronic music, because it takes real talent to keep it purely musical. Gravity is musical as hell. The bridge adds unbelievable dimensions to the tune, and it’s what makes the song special. It’s a perfect dreamscape for a Tron soundtrack—a meditative mood that takes you to a world full of neons where you’re not weighed down by daily troubles.
