Steppenkind has the heavy handed crunch of the British 80s scene. Their photo and video speak volumes to their sound. They’re heady and idealistic, rooted in past of dirty back rooms and garages no matter how polished they become—they’re authentic. Production quality and time will continue to perfect this boiling over trio, but I expect they’ll always be the band you enjoyed in the first place. It’s wildly refreshing to hear a band who knows who they are.
