Boreen cultivated a sound that whispers “west coast Brand New,” and I fucking dig it. Secure, fluid harmonies move in directions you wouldn’t initially expect—though mellow, their music is really full. Sometimes I hear a band and think “damn, they would be so great if only they…” but I can’t do that here. Boreen knows what they’re doing.

If you’re feeling a little hallowed out, but hopeful, have a beer and a smoke in the shower and blast a little Myers-Briggs.
