KP has been killing me with the music selection recently. As a musician and writer, I pride myself on being able to say “yes! This is a good band and song because of X, Y, or Z.” But she keeps throwing me curve balls. These songs are just downright GOOD, and it feels almost impossible to argue WHY. They just resonate with me in such a basic way.

Where We Sleep is the peak of that. They sounds like the Smiths and Muse had a beautiful love-child sent by my editor to confuse my sensibilities.
