I’m 100% obsessed with Reema’s “Sunny Afternoon.” Her delivery of The Kinks’ hit felt so natural that it took me a second to realize that it wasn’t one of her original tracks.

The contradiction between her soft, airy vocals and the hints of dark, heavy electronic pop make this track stand out in a sea of cover songs that are recorded, uploaded, and forgotten. She carries the melody to new heights, and she does it so effortlessly, it’s almost impossible to imagine anyone else performing this song at all.
