Sounds: TOLEDO // Hot Stuff

If “Hot Stuff” is any indication of how much I’ll love TOLEDO’s debut album, HotStuff, then February 2019 can’t get here soon enough.

“I’ll be same as I’ve been,

So please, please string me along again.

I’m dreaming of your bed,

Where you can always find me.”

You can hear TOLEDO’s Brooklyn roots through the speakers, like “Hot Stuff” is part of the soundtrack to an indie film set in the city…or better yet, the sequel to Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist.

“I’m so tired of change.

Wanna feel the same

As I did in your bed,

Where you can always find me.”

You know at the end of the movie, when they make it to the rooftop where Where’s Fluffy? is playing. I want to see TOLEDO play this song on a rooftop just like that one day.
