Hailing from my home state of Virginia, Alexander Mack just submitted one of my absolute favorite tracks of the month. “Small Time” is half hip-hop, half jazz, and it kicks every ass up and down the block. It makes me think of being a young man growing up in Norfolk, just waiting for something special to happen to me.

I am wildly excited about this music. I remember when SOL and Logic were releasing early tapes and I thought “holy shit. This is some fucking talent.” Alexander Mac has that same spark. Just you wait, he’s going to be famous.
