Atlanta, Georgia’s Thomas Howard blends the ambient and the unusual, the abstract and the audibly addictive, in his solo recording project, Orchid Mantis. After only four years, his success has been unprecedented, with almost 40,000 listeners eagerly awaiting album Yellow House, released today.

The third single and title track from the album, “Yellow House” is a mellow blend of electronic and lo-fi, using Howard’s signature blend of diffusive structures, effortless pop sensibilities, off-beat recording methods, and obscure samples. The melody blends seamlessly into the track, his voice an instrument in itself, as the song drifts along.
