Sounds: Grass Temple // Koala Qualms

I’ll be honest, I’m not usually a fan of electronic instrumental tracks. It makes me think of weird action movies where you spend most of your time picking out plot holes and wondering why they cast that actor. But I’ll be honest: I just listened to almost seven minutes of an electronic-meets-post-rock instrumental track, thanks to Grass Temple, and then hit replay.

Based in the UK, Grass Temple’s ability to find the intersection between two genres I never would’ve combined is what sets him apart. I love the movement within the music; it never gets stale, and I never found myself wanting to skip to the next track. In fact, I caught my second wind and was ready to jump and dance around the room for a few minutes.
