The second single from Andrew Goldring‘s upcoming album, Fluorescent Memories, “American Daydream” is sun-soaked and golden, mellow, and soaring. Goldring’s voice floats high above a muted, fuzzy guitar, creating a feeling of bittersweet nostalgia for days gone by.
I love this track. It feels like late summertime and young love and stolen kisses from 1978, when everything was in sepia-tone and the world was less complicated. It stands in direct contrast to the gray, cold, wet winter weather outside my window, but I’m feeling it, big time.
