I’ll be honest: I’m a sucker for anything featuring moody drums, dark, jazzy, caberet-inspired piano, and hushed, monotone vocals, and Doctrs delivers it perfectly with “Easy Go.” The effect the collaboration between Josh Campos and Sean Bloom has on my mood is visceral; I want to paint on red lipstick, through on my favorite leather jacket, and light up a cigarette in the doorway of some dive bar, staring out into the rain and daring the world to ask me how I’m doing.
