Portland-based trio Psychic Rites just released their second single, the dark, ambient “Unwarranted Advice,” and guess what? It rocks.
Featuring songwriter, guitarist and synthesizer player Mike Siemens, guitarist Dave Miller, and synthesizer player Andy Schmidt, the trio blend heavy, manic sounds with dance beats, creating an intoxicating, contradicting groove they describe as “neon disco doom.”
