Scandinavian post-punk/death rock trio Outer Limit Lotus has never been a band to shy away from the dark, experimental, or intense, pushing the limits on the Scandinavian goth-rock scene since their inception in 2016.
“I watch cars pass by
People pass by
I sit here everyday
I listen to my room
I listen to my body
Listen to the world outside
I could be watching you.”
Now, with Lotus Eaters, their latest EP, Outer Limit Lotus builds on the cult status of their previous project, noise-rock band Haust, deepening their intense connection with the Norwegian darkness. The result is an 8-track epic, featuring reverb-heavy guitars, pulsating rhythms and hypnotic synth, and droning, heavy vocals.
