The Faded North are British expats who moved to Vienna, Austria to take their shot at the big time. “Security,” the lead single off their new EP, is a song full of longing, remorse, and regret. The vocals have a subdued delivery that paves the way for the pure emotion of the instrumental sections. The solos are breakdowns and really make this song special, breathing life into what would otherwise be a standard chorus-verse-chorus progression.  Drummer Matt Pottinger delivers an amazing and progressive beat, switching between a fast and tight high hat focused beat to an all-out adventure through toms tones.
