UCLA’s guitarist, violinist, and pianist Billy Hammer has an incredible ability to transform the simplest track – vocals, synth, and percussion – into an ethereal, psychedelic slow jam with his latest release, “Losing Touch.”

Mellow and hypnotic, Hammer intertwines haunting strings with programmed beats, his echoing vocals floating above the lush soundscape. “Losing Touch” is brief, at only three-and-a-half minutes, but it’s impactful, luring listeners in with its hypnotic instrumentation.
