Came across the collage work of Beth Morris on Instagram and after some fine trolling through her feed, I decided Left Bank wouldn’t be the same without her work in it. Heavy is the hand that holds the pen, or however that saying goes 😉

I became obsessed with collage and embroidery while in art school. I studied Fine Art at Cardiff School of Art & Design and graduated in 2015. 

I particularly like using images of the 1940s/50s because it connects me to my late father who grew up in that era. I tend to focus on images of women in order to subvert the original meaning of the imagery, this could be by using shape and colour, or by using text.
