Us Presidents, a three-piece from Denton, Texas, have released their new track, “LLL”, along with their 12-track LP, Worst World in the World. “LLL” is a swaying chip-tune-laden waltz with an emotion that rides a line of whim and seriousness. 16-bit synth lines hush in nostal-ancholic drones with buttery vocals that drift with a similar sort of hypnotic simplicity.

Along with the synth-lines, my favorite part of the track is the use of drums. They hit hard enough to keep you just out of that total trance that the synth and vocals take you, causing a nice balance where you are both drifting away and coming to at the same time.
