New York’s Poppies just dropped their newest EP, Bed Music – a “sort of impulsive” self-release – on Valentine’s Day, and while we’re a day late (#toomanyemails), we’re definitely feeling the love!

Driving, catchy, and ethereal, Bed Music is a mellow, indie rock dream from start to finish. It’s their first release in almost two years, too, but it’s well worth the wait. The standout track? The second track, “Dum Dum.” It hits with a harder punch, featuring tense vocals and drums that threaten to lose control before dropping down into a carefully contained pocket.
