Los Angeles-based punk band, SP’s, have released their new song “Sons and Guns.” The tune is an energetic punk number with punky screech vocals by frontman Steve Albertson. The lyrics and vocal delivery are the standout for me on this song, with a  simple whimsical yet stern punk delivery that sort of make me think back to a kind of DEVO irreverence. They add a nice sense of humor to the serious sense of the instrumentation.
