Toronto’s The Mooks just propelled me into summer/intensified my longing for beachy sunsets with their latest single, “So Kind.” It’s all jangly pop and upbeat rhythms that make my shoulders shake and my head bob up and down. It’s lifting the corners of my lips one minute in, and I’m dreaming of warmth and blue skies.

Formed in late 2017, The Mooks took off at a run, releasing an EP called Singles and making a name for themselves as one of the most exciting up-and-coming live groups Toronto has to offer. Less than two years later, they’re back at it with “So Kind,” promising another year of high energy and exponential growth for the trio.
