Y’all. What. A. Week. The first ever Left Bank Unofficial SXSW Showcases were uhhh-mazing. Keep your eyes peeled for a post on that 😉 and hop on over to the Left Bank Insta for Termination Dust’s Instagram takeover (since we’ve pretty much just given our Instagram account to a few dozen bands at this point)!

But in the meantime, let’s check in with the raddest of the rad HNRY FLWR & The Ferdy Mayne + all their SXSW shenanigans.

HNRY FLWR & The Ferdy Mayne:

This tour has been beautiful so far. We’re currently hightailing it to Hot Springs, AR for Valley of the Vapors Festival. The brotherly bond is strong in The Ferdy Mayne’s van. She’s named Dangerbird. We’re all sharing members to make for a lean tour.

Galen, Max, Chris (guitar, bass, drums) and Sarah (Shane’s fiancé and resident band mama) got matching ⚡️TCB tattoos. And that’s really been what this tour has been about: Taking Care of Business.

We went to Graceland on our day off and laid our picks on Elvis’s Grave. Shane played 20 showcases with 3 bands (Ferdy, HNRY FLWR, and Cindy Cane) in 6 days at SXSW. We stayed outside of Austin at a mini horse ranch. The ranch wasn’t mini, the horses were. Another night we stayed at a motel where someone was shot the night before. We’re road weary, but we’re ready for the second leg.
