Irish electro-pop duo DAVIIS – formed by cousins Keith and Gavin Davis – is known for fusing new-wave hooks with belting pop beats and echoing harmonies, resulting in fresh, danceable singles, beginning with their debut release, Simple Words, Complex World, in 2016. Since then, the cousins have honed their signature sound. Now, it’s displayed profoundly in their latest track, “Nothing To Give.”

Both smooth and melodic and urgently emotive, “Nothing To Give” drives forward with a relentless rhythm, but the vocals take a more subtle approach, tugging at the heartstrings as they wail, “It’s not alright  / I got nothing to give / Nothing to reach for.”
