Hosted, DJ’ed and curated by bisexual party kitten Jessica Louise Dye of local NYC surf-pop band High Waisted, Femme Fatale is celebrating their first birthday and we couldn’t resist sharing. The weekly party/event is perfect for a date night, meeting new friends, and dancing under a golden hue if that’s your thing. Considering those of us on the High Street love a good disco, I’m going to assume that it is.
The slogan for the party is something we can also get behind, hot tunes, cold drinks, no cover, no creeps. Because, honestly I’m sick of going to an event or party and being hit on or just oogled incessantly.
French pop and indie dance tunes are spun with a rotating cast of female and queer guest DJ’s, and for their anniversary party there will also be an open bar, an all vinyl set by Annika Adams and a midnight burlesque show.
It all goes down at Huckleberry Bar (588 Grand Street, Williamsburg, Brooklyn). See here for the event link.
