Sounds x Sea Salt: Frames

Got this incredible video in from Sea Salt — an indie pop band founded by Kurtis Roy. Drawing influences from bands like Wild Nothing, Crumb, and Turnover, Sea Salt makes quirky and introspective pop songs with a heavy emphasis on melody.

This new track and video, Frames features resonating lyrics, a quirky video (I see early Tame Impala influences which I kind of love), and the track is so. damn. catchy.

Put it this way, if this band was playing a show as far as Los Angeles or Canggu, I would buy a flight to watch/attend. Don’t sleep on Sea Salt.
