This new track by Hugo Cottu is the definition of bedroom pop. Actually, it’s more like bedroom shoegaze, but I swear if one more new music genre comes out, I’m liable to shut the site down on principle.

“For All I Know” was played, recorded and mixed by Hugo in his bedroom, and is the first song he released as an artist. Which, I’m sorry, but that’s crazy impressive. I’ve been running this site for five years now, and I haven’t come across a debut track made in a bedroom that sounds this professional, and well done.

[The track] is about the trouble you have when trying to create a new song and staying too much in one room.
