If you’re like me, you’ve been spending your Friday night working; if you’re cool and not lame, you’re out at a show right now (maybe even at Dodge 112). I couldn’t be more pleased to come across this track by The Moonjacks — it makes me feel like I’m out at a concert in the best kind of way.

The production on this track is EVERYTHING. The vocals and drums are so engaging, I could get up and dance any minute now. All that to say, The Moonjacks represent everything I love about California — they are rowdy, and loud, and I bet they spend their weekends skating around LA. I want to be them. I want to have kids like them. I want to be their best friend.

I’m going to go to sleep now, thinking about how I can get out to California and join their band. But, in the meantime listen to all that is garage rock holiness in the new track “Bummer.”
