Sounds: Wutip // All My Sins

East London-based Wutip has put out this very British garage rock track that you’ve got to hear. Blending scrappy guitars, raucous choruses, punchy lyrics and political sentiment, “All My Sins” isn’t like the shoegaze, bedroom pop, surf rock music that you’re hearing — and while we love those genres, this tune blasts in ways that only punk can.

Formed a year ago by former folk duo Tom Fisher and Dominic Mill, Australian expat Liam Dunn and a guy they drink with called David Lewins, the band released their three track demo “Rough Cut” last November to rave reviews and have become a room-packing feature of the London scene.

“All My Sins” is the first in a trio of songs about the sadnesses and mundanities of modern life, released in tandem with a micro-budget music video. Listen to the tune below.
