Happy motherfreaking hump day everyone on the Left Bank! I’m sat on the terrace at Le Pain, going through our submissions (sorry everyone, I’m getting stuff up today), and smiling because the weather is absolutely beautiful and if you’re in the states like me, the upcoming weekend is a 3-day weekend.

Which, I’m guessing if Bernie wins every weekend will be a 3-day weekend. But, let’s not get too ahead of ourselves, shall we?

I’ve pulled together some tracks that I’ve recently discovered (and love) and want to make sure we all start our week off on the absolute best foot. Enjoy x

Speelburg – Say Hello

There is nothing quite like a track that makes you want to get up and dance even when on the inside all you want to do is take an incredibly long nap. The vocals in this track from Brighton, UK’s Speelburg are very similar to NYC’s Bodega, until you get to the chorus and it turns into a full synthed-out psychedelic dance party. The track was featured in the latest Google Pixel commercial, which basically makes them too famous to even write about on Left Bank. Say hello to the first and last time we will cover Speelburg because they are about to hit icon status.
