“Pull yourself together, get out your umbrella.”
I’m really not one for hyperbole’s but there is no better new track to bring you into fall in London than this tune “The Weather” by Drooligan.
Drooligan’s debut single and video “The Weather” gives you very English vocals, an enviable playfulness, and friendly camaraderie that makes you wish you were back in grammar school. Or, is it public school?
Using a dusty old clubland organ that they found in an abandoned room in a York social club, Drooligan has given us a banger of an indie-electro tune.
Expect three colourful and immature nutcases dancing, grinning and singing songs about umbrellas, superstition, the seaside and Anne Bronte. As well as the odd feminist anthem for the single and proud.
