The homies Diana Boss, from Vancouver, BC, have put together this banger of a track that is perfect for any post-holiday workout. Or, if you’re like me, and headed to the beach for Christmas, then this can suffice as a pre-holiday workout.

A collaboration that began in 2015 between Sam Steele and Josh McRae, Diana Boss makes super soulful house tunes that we can totally vibe to.

In 1970, Diana Ross & The Supremes appeared on The Ed Sullivan show for their final TV appearance. Diana was asked by Ed, “What is Soul?” and without hesitation she replied, “Well Soul is kinda hard to describe, but I think it’s everybody doing their own thing.” Diana Boss is a celebration of what that moment represents.

Their track “Thicc Honey” feat. Giorgi Holiday is neo-soul meets tropical house, from start to finish the groove seeps into your veins, and by the end of the track you’ve hit nirvana. It’s what Bukowski wishes he could have experienced; and it’s here for all of you.

2020 brings Diana Boss’ residency at Vancouver’s infamous 1181 Lounge, their first international appearance at Yelapa Festival, and major releases on UFO Recordz and Westwood Recordings. So, go ahead and stay tuned.
