Ambient swells of goodness are what exudes from Parrot Dream and their single, “Woven.” Christina Hansen Appel (vocals, keys) and Gonzalo Guerrero (guitar), formed the band in Santiago, Chile back in 2013 and they’re now based in Brooklyn. This mixture of shoegaze guitar and airy vocals, creates dreamy pop that you can really get the feels for.  

Off of the B-Sides of Parrot Dreams’ first full-length album, Light Goes—a Good Eye Records release—“Woven” manages to take the listener on a sonic journey; Guerrero’s fervent guitar along with the accompaniment of Appel’s angelic vocal style.

This song has the ability to put you in a better mood, even though it’s rather mellow. I’d have to say that regardless, it’s still “shimmery” and opulent.
