Coral Collapse

Sounds: Coral Collapse // “Never Go”

Coral Collapse brings forth DIIV-esque shoegaze tunes, and the track “Never Go” doesn’t disappoint. Made up of Kevin O’Connor, (vocals, guitar), Seth Zielinski (drums), Joel Russell (bass), and Gandi Rizek (guitar), the dream-pop band is based out of Buffalo, NY.

From start to finish, the tune features a hypnotising guitar matched with Kevin’s soft and sweet vocals—”Never Go” is the track you play when you are having a bad day and are desperate for some good vibes. Reminiscent of Parrot Dream or Surf Rock is Dead’s surfy guitars, Coral Collapse helps you float through whatever you’re going through. The chorus is catchy as hell, and once the track ends, you find yourself wanting—no, craving—more.

“Never Go” is off of their debut full-length album, Don’t Wait to See Me Say Goodbye which came out earlier this year (April 26) via Admirable Traits Records. Listen to the tune below.
