So pleased to share this new tune from up-and-coming band Citrus Maxima. The Chatham, New York band is made up of Luca Rinaldi (guitar/vox), Shawn Majeed (drums), and Wyatt Kirschner (bass).
Their new tune “Falling About” is a Strokes-esque fueled indie rock tune with infectious vocals, urgent guitars, and beating drums that literally pick you up and set you down on a dance floor.
Written in the summer of 2019, “Falling About” represents a maturation of Citrus Maxima’s songwriting. It was the first song written after the release of their 2019 EP “Manic Pixie Dream Girl,” and while we can assume that the boys won’t entirely step away from singing about manic pixie dream girl’s (let’s be serious), we can rest assured that they have what it takes to be New York’s next super-charged indie rock band.
These trio of lads are looking to make it in the big city, but they shouldn’t have too hard of a time. That’s the Left Bank stance and we are sticking to it.
