Absolutely stoked to share this post-punk meets dance track from DISCHAAAGEEE, Japan’s answer to Talking Heads.

Active in Fukuoka, Japan since 2016, DISCHAAAGEEE makes music influenced by new wave and post-punk, which is so apparent in the new track “Summary.” It’s literally hard to sit down and write this review because their music is made for dancing. DISCHAAAGEEE is also known for dancing and shouting in live performances so hopefully we can see them sometime.

Full of new wave goodness, the track “Summary” is all about breaking down walls and freeing yourself from societal constraints. With lyrics, ‘represent represent everybody youth nation, teenagers are screamin and a loft left ration, I don’t like goin’ to the hospital rude boy, there are times when I think already messed up,’ “Summary” is the perfect punk track.
