If you’ve been reading Left Bank for a while, you know how much we love Stray Fossa. There must be something in the water in Charlottesville, VA as two of our favorite bands, Inning and Stray Fossa, have been birthed there. I’m telling you, UVA is where it’s at.

The band has released their newest single “Are You Gonna Be Okay” earlier this year and it’s already been playing on repeat. Featuring Nick Evans smooth vocals and their quintessential dreamy soundscape, “Are You Gonna Be Okay” sounds like a more grown up and experimental sibling to the track that first caught my attention, “These Days.”

Proving that they are able to stay true to their dream pop roots without being afraid to experiment sonically, Stray Fossa is a band that is both consistent and surprising. “Are You Gonna Be Okay” represents some of the old and some of the new, and I don’t say this too often, but Stray Fossa is a band to watch.
