Sounds x Premiere: Dräger // Stayin’ Cool

Hey all you cool cats and kittens, it’s a very special Friday today because we are sharing Dräger’s new tune with the world.

The New York-based psychedelic-synth-pop band channels themes of the digital modern age in their tracks—taking a satirical approach to the narcissisms and anxiety illuminated through technology. Draeger’s first songs take sounds of the past to talk about the future.

Featuring vocals by Spencer Draeger, the track “Stayin’ Cool” is an eclectic blend of Studio 54 cocaine and sex parties with soaring vocals, and a layer of coolness like only New York can do.

Stayin’ Cool is the sarcastic soundtrack to a generation out of touch and a “cool” delivery to channeling themes about the anxiety of the end of the world. It’s laid back, sassy and the first single to drop on the forthcoming “Partner In Crime” album.
