First up is:  PLAY DEAD’s debut release on the new independent label Blitzcat Record.

The South London based band PLAY DEAD is the post-punk antidote to bedroom boredom (my mom sent me a picture the other day of a design she made on her fleece blanket because that’s how bored she is) … it’s bleak. Full of distorted guitars, growling bass, angsty vocals, and lyrics dripping in adolescent ambition to face down the ordinary, PLAY DEAD gives us the perfect ‘fuck quarantine’ soundtrack.

But please, still stay inside.

The short and sweet track is full of the angst that we all have inside just dying to get out so we can, you know, brunch and walk street markets and have a normal life again. The world is fucked; this track is not. Listen to “Whistable” below xx
