Happy Women’s Month everyone! We are excited to announce that New York/London-based Juliet Garrett is taking over Left Bank Magazine this week.

As a lead up to her very first EP, Corners of Pretend, each day Juliet will share a little piece of the EP—and herself—with us.

I first met Juliet at Left Bank’s International Women’s Day concert at Muchmore’s in Brooklyn two years ago. Since then, she’s been playing around Manhattan, Brooklyn, and North London with stops along the way in Berlin, Antwerp, and Amsterdam on her Carry On mini-tour.

Annie O. (literally love her) has referred to Juliet’s music as “honest, heartfelt, classic songs.” 

Juliet is originally from a remote island in New York State (that is sometimes featured in her music videos—which you’ll see later in the week).
