web series: stray cats: goth kid

Happy Halloween, ya freaks! Our favorite multi-hyphenate Gillian Visco is back with a Halloween premiere of the newest episode of Stray Cats.

“Goth Kid” features the ultimate punk sounds from Brooklyn-based band Retail (listen to the featured tune ‘Skreej’ on Bandcamp), and a montage of New York-esque scenes, culminating with Visco in a park doing—well, I’ll just leave it up to you to watch and see.

Launched on YouTube on October 1, 2020, Stray Cats highlights the lives of three New York City based artists that reside in far off working-class neighborhoods in Brooklyn while pursuing their dreams in the city.

“Stray Cats is a dark comedy about a few rough and tumble artist kids trying to make it in New York City. I want the series to shine a light on what it’s really like for struggling artists to make a life for themselves, and simultaneously act as a platform for different genres of underground art.”
